About Mawaddah Foundation

Mawaddah Foundation is a not for profit organization created to provide accessibility, and affordability to quality education in India. Established in 2015 to provide education to children in the poorest of poor underserved areas of Bangalore aims at providing quality Education to make children confident and empowered. The Trust established various programs to assist students acquire basic literacy, primary, secondary and higher education.

At present, the Mawaddah supports drop out students in North Bangalore through NIOS curriculum, promotes first generation college attendants from underprivileged backgrounds. Mawaddah Foundation also provides Educational Scholarships to students for College Education and for Professional Courses. Scholarships are given on merit-means basis.

Over 1.2 million students are currently out of school, with the majority falling within the elementary level (ages 6-14). Education serves as the primary tool for breaking the cycle of poverty, offering a pathway to brighter futures. Our mission at Mawaddah Foundation is to collaborate closely with local communities and impactful organizations across India, focusing particularly on urban underserved areas, to deliver high-quality education to children.
